Coming soon to Colette: Juliette Has A Gun

The grandson of fragrance giant Nina Ricci is to release his own line of eau de parfums. Romano Ricci is launching Juliette Has A Gun Parfums in December. The line, named after Shakespeare's tragic heroine, will be sold through Parisian store Colette. Francis Kurkdjian (perfumer of Le Male, Green Tea and Armani Mania) is the creator of the two initial fragrances - Lady Vengeance and Miss Charming. The artwork on the bottles has been designed by Sylvie de France. (A further three fragrances are due to be added in 2007.)

Lady Vengeance features notes of Italian rose, vanilla and patchouli; and Miss Charming contains Moroccan rose, lychee and strawberry.

The fragrances are expected to retail at €60 for the 50ml bottle and €85 for the 100ml bottle. The brand is due to be available in further French department stores in time for Saint Valentine's Day next year.
