Hartnett swaps pearls for diamonds in latest Armani advertising campaign
by Thomas Stone, 24 July 2008

Hartnett, star of “The Black Dahlia” and upcoming Hollywood production “August”, is the first male celebrity to represent Giorgio Armani Beauty. Diamonds for Men, described as a “Woody Gourmand Aromatic”, opens with top notes of Italian citrus, bergamot and Szechuan pepper, and finishes with base notes of gaiac wood, vetiver and ambroxan. At the heart of the fragrance lie notes of cedar and cocoa bean.
Diamonds for Men will be available at fine department stores from September, including Macy’s and Bloomingdales. Available in three sizes of 1.0fl, 1.7fl and 2.5fl, the eau de toilette spray is priced at $37.50, $52.50 and $62.50 respectively.
