Wasser joins Guerlain as in-house perfumer
by Grant Osborne, 15 May 2008
Firmenich perfumer, Thierry Wasser, will be joining Guerlain as in-house perfumer from June 2008. This will be the first time a non-family member will be the permanent nose of the French house.
Wasser joined Firmenich in 1993 and his creations include Caline, Dior Addict, Darling, Truth Calvin Klein as well as Iris Ganache and Quand Vient La Pluie for Guerlain.
Guerlain's CEO Laurent Boillot said "This appointment upholds the Guerlain philosophy of entrusting its olfactory creations to a 'nose,' a tradition that has been followed for almost 180 years". ![]()
