Guerlain and Chanel the big winners in the 7th Annual Basenotes Awards

Fragrance consumers from all over the world took part in deciding the winners for the 7th Annual Basenotes Fragrance Awards, Sponsored by Aedes de Venustas
The big winners were Guerlain who picked up four Gold Awards, including Best House; and Chanel who won the Gold Award for Best Fragrance for Men and Women for Egoiste and No. 5. Best New Fragrance for Men was awarded to Terre d'Hermes and for women, Annick Goutal's Songes.
One new category this year was for Best Fragrance Blog, which was won by Now Smell This.
The winners were voted for by visitors of Basenotes.net at the end of 2006.
