Chipie by Chipie

I used to have this some years ago, still have some bottles though. I really loved this one, since it was a very flowery-fresh perfume. It wasn't from a big perfume or fashion house, here in Belgium and France it was sold in retail stores. I don't think they still make it, haven't seen any lately. Still hope to find a smell-alike sometimes... . I'll send an image later.

Azzaro Now Women by Azzaro

I've tried this from a sample, but didn't like it. It's fresh in a certain way, but also a bit masculin. After a few hourw the smell was gone. No surprises, no wows, just another perfume like there are many others. No NOW ik want to buy this... .

Ferré for Him by Gianfranco Ferré

Everytime my husband wear's this I think, what's this great perfume? It's very fresh and still warm, not overwhelming and has a great lasting power.

Lady Vengeance by Juliette Has a Gun

Great perfume! Reminds me of Narcisso Rodriguez but this one has a londer lasting power and is a little bit warmer. I want this!

Platinum Égoïste by Chanel

A great male fragrance, not too strong and very tolerable on any occasion. Bought this as a gift for my husband and he adored it to. Very classy and not too masculin.

Tocade by Rochas

A nice every day fragrance, if you can't make up your mind about what to wear (that's a cosequence of being a perfume addict). Sometimes too powdery and floral, don't overspray. It lasts and lasts and lasts... . A good winter smell, warm and cousy.

Sung by Alfred Sung

I achieved Sung when I was a young girl and than it fitted me well. My mother did like is as well since she's fond of muguet fragrances. I didn't get the need to buy it a second time though. Very floral but nothing special, sometimes too much baby powder smell.

Magnetism by Escada

Warm, candy, caramel, nothing new. Once had it, no desires of buying it again, I even got a sample recently and haven't used it yet.
03 July 2007

Silver Light by Escada

I like the freshness of it, but especially the topnotes are good. Fresh but warm at the same time.

Ungaro III by Ungaro

A real masculine scent, I bought it for my boyfriend years ago (whom is now my husband) since I adored it warm woody smell.

Trussardi Inside Woman by Trussardi

I just achieved a bottle of this gorgeous perfume! I received a sample a couple of months and I was always delighted when I smelled. It really fits with a classy look and it's warm and sensual. A warm smell that fits even summertime. I just had to smell this more often after I finished my sample! To me, this is a better version of Angel. And finally it's a warm scent that doesn't fade in a vanilla scent (which makes you smell like a candle).

Trésor (new) by Lancôme

One of my first perfumes as a young(er) girl. I kind a lost the idea of wearing it years ago, but lately I'm longing to wear it again. They have this nice eau de toilette version now, without he sharper (sometimes overwhelming) side of Tresor, which is very nice on a summers day.

Giò by Giorgio Armani

Not as popular as Acque di Gio, very different indeed. Very sweet, like honey, not very interesting though... .
26 June 2007

Cabotine by Grès

This is a great "green" smell, I'm a very fond of it, has a great lasting power and isn't like anything else. I hope they keep producing it... .
26 June 2007

Rush 2 by Gucci

A very nice, light summer perfume. Doesn't look like the original Rush at all, but is a nice welcome on a warm summer day. Has a great lasting power.
26 June 2007

Rush by Gucci

This perfume is addictive! Once used, you always want to return to it. It has an incredible lasting power and stays quite the same all the time. It doesn't fade into an ordinary vanilla smell but stays incredible good!

CK In 2U Her by Calvin Klein

When I tested it, the smell reminded me instantly of Ck one. But then, instead of fading away as the last one does, it only gets fresher and sexier. I haven't tried the male one, so I'm talking about CKin2U 'her'. Although the citrus is very overwhelming at te start, and you would expect the fragrance to finish after this, it really seems to keep up with the heart and top notes, and is supporting them very well. To me, much better than CK one... . And thank god, not unisex

A*Men / Angel Men by Thierry Mugler

When this arrived on the market, I must admit that I loved it. Considering that we still had cold winters here in Belgium that time... . I really don't think you should wear a fragrance like this during summertime.
The lasting power of this is too long, I don't like the drydown and it just stays too long. It's lik I want it to disappear, but it doesn't. Too bad that most drydowns are musky or heavy, I do believe that a fresh scent should stay fresh.
Back to A*men, I bought this one for my husband (as I said when we had winters over here) and I liked it. Allthough it could get too much and it would be a good smell to use in a chocolate store, too be in a small room amongst others,... not so good.
11 June 2007

Boucheron pour Homme by Boucheron

Not bad at all, but on a man, I like a more masculin scent, the citrus makes it too fresh and light, would work on a warm day as a refreshment.
07 June 2007

Jaïpur by Boucheron

I got this one as a present from my husband, 10 years ago. I instantly liked it, to me it's the better version of Donna Karans Be Delicious.
Be Delicious smells like apples, Jaïpur smells like apples with sparkling water. Much better and has more lasting power... .
07 June 2007

Boucheron by Boucheron

I had this one when I was 16 (!!) years old and oved it, so not really an old lady fragrance. I just happen to like odeurs who are not just young and fresh and fruity. There has to be a depth in it, a richness and staying power. Something that makes me want to smell it instandly, here and now! And Boucheron has it all...
07 June 2007

Red by Giorgio Beverly Hills

Love, love, love this one. Too bad they don't sell it here anymore. I love the scent of Amber, ripe fruit and the sparkling scent seems to last and last... . I still own a small bottle of it but never use it (miniature). Red is to Giorgio Beverly Hills what Beautiful is to Estee Lauder.
07 June 2007

Giorgio by Giorgio Beverly Hills

There's one thing I like this perfume on, and it's on a peace of paper, fist smelled it in a magazine and liked it. But wat a disappontement wearing it. Only the top notes smell good on me, the rest is really old ladies smell, dusty, old and overwhleming, causing instant headaches to the ones surrounding you.
My friend bought a bottle of this a while ago, 'cause it reminded her of her young days, late eighties. It really doesn't fit her so I told her. She agrees... thank god for me..

Comme des Garçons 2 by Comme des Garçons

I do find it a bit too strong for me, too much coriander, smells more like a herbal store and starts smelling sour after a while.
06 June 2007

Pleasures Intense by Estée Lauder

I did like the original Pleasures better, although I thought I would like this more. It's a bit too strong and you can easily overspray this one. A friend at work wore this and sometimes it was really disturbing and causes a headache... .
06 June 2007

Pleasures by Estée Lauder

Like the smell, nothing special though, very flowery indeed, but also refreshing and absolutely sparkling. A classical, one to use again after not wearing it several years...
06 June 2007

Jean-Louis Scherrer by Jean-Louis Scherrer

I bought this one Paris when I was young, as a perfume addict I always knew what to buy on trips with school... . At that time I used it but wasn't very fond of it. Now I'm double as old as then and I must admit that I rather like it. Especially the green notes and if I wear it I smell something woody to. It's a comforting smell, but you should watch out that you don't overspray because the bitterness at the end can be overwhelming. A keeper.
05 June 2007

Scherrer 2 by Jean-Louis Scherrer

This was one of my first perfumes I bought as a teenager. Not really a teenager smell though, not at all flowery or fruity. But I adored it... and I still do. I don't have it anymore, too much other smells going on. Actually, when Amber Nude was launched it reminded me of Scherrer II, just the first smell though, I even find Scherrer II better. It has a bit of tobacco in it which makes it irresistible (for me) and it's also a bit more fruitier at the end. Last very long an is an ideal winter or evening perfume. Should buy it again... .

L by Lolita Lempicka

At first, the bottle does NOT AT ALL match the fragrance, I expected a watery, fresh fragrance instead of a cheap smelling odeur. I want to get rid of it as fast as possible when I try this. I will give it one more chance... . Too much vanilla gives it a plastic, dry scent, or a scent like they use in those things some people use in their cars (which gives me an instant headache).

Prada Amber pour Homme by Prada

Here's a female who will wear her husband's perfume... . I like it, it's fresh and warm at the same time, very sexy and surprising.
31 May 2007

Live by Jennifer Lopez

A bit too sweet for my scent, but I could stand, although sometimes scents like thes start to smell 'sweaty' after a while... . Not really fresh, rather warm en fruity
31 May 2007

Eau D'Amour pour Maman by Tartine et Chocolat [Givenchy]

A real fresh and clean fragrance. The opening smells like a classical Eau de cologne but it quickly changes in to a citrus/vanilla scent. Not too sweet but very fresh. A very soft, clean fragrance. And as a mother you sometimes need these kind of fragrances...
31 May 2007

Attraction by Lancôme

The shop where I use to buy perfume (the entire region actually) didn't sell Attraction anymore by the time I got fond of it. So I bought a bottle on ebay. And I still like it. Allthough I can't seem to put an occassion on it. It's a smell you have to be in the mood for. Warm, sensual and very smooth. No surprises, just warm and feminine. Something you want to return to.
31 May 2007

Envy Me by Gucci

This is one of the smells that I like to wear when I can't decide what to wear... . Especially on a summerday when I want to feel fresh and clean all day long. I always need one of these scens in my wardrobe
31 May 2007

Oval by Eden Park

I received this in sample at the store and I thought it was a women's perfume. I really like the scent and I used it for myself, now I see that it's male. It's a warm, tender, cousy smell, reminds me of Emporio Armani (the white one) and Cashmere mist from Donna Karan. It would smell great on a man... .
05 March 2007

Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf

Tried this one yesterday and I didn't find it as extroardinary as I thought it would be. It starts with a smell that is very familiar (must be Allure) and further.... nothing. It just doensn't last on my skin and fades after a few minutes.
16 December 2006

Envy by Gucci

As a huge fan of green notes, I adore Envy! I want more of this sort fragrances.
14 December 2006

Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren

Bought this a couple of years ago, since I liked it on a paper in the store. Forgot why by the thime my husband used it the first time. Smells rancid, like old perfume, no sport at all... .

Miracle So Magic! by Lancôme

I first smelled this on a friend from work and I thought she worde Happy! Seems it was Miracle so magic, so I bought a bottle of it and used it frequently during summer. A while ago I smelled it on someone else and it really was kinda disturbing, the vanilla on the end was way too much on her... and I don't like vanilla in perfume. As with most of the scents I obtain, I'm tired of it after using it a while (exept Cristalle) and I havened noticed anything on So magic that makes me ant to buy this again.
07 December 2006

White Jeans by Versace

Gives me an instant headache... .
06 December 2006

Tuscany per Donna by Aramis

I love this perfume, too bad here in Belgium they don't sell it anymore (at least not were I live). I just like the way this smell stays 'open' at the end, like it's unfinished. I don't find it necessary that each perfume has to end with wood or amber and certainly not with vanilla. It's like you want to keep breathin' in deeper and deeper to reach the end of this smell... . It's a while ago since I've worn this, I think about 13 years... .

Eden by Cacharel

Yukes! Hate it hate it hate it. I want to run away from it as fast as I can.
06 December 2006

Happy Diamonds by Chopard

I use to wear this when I was 15. This is af very soft, warm comfort scent. You could compare it the best with Donna Karan Cashmere mist, but then with less fruitnotes. I don't think it's still available though, too bad.
06 December 2006

Happy Heart by Clinique

I like this one, fresh, floral, lovely and... happy! Although I thin Happy is more a summer scent, Happy heart fits also during wintertime.
06 December 2006

Emporio Armani Remix She by Giorgio Armani

Just tried this from a sample and it's really great! A sparkling, vivid fragrance, perfect for a night in town... . One thing could be better for me (or maybe it's becaus of my skintone), but I wish the topnotes could stay a little longer (or the whole time) because they smell great!
06 December 2006

Kenzo Amour by Kenzo

I got a sample of this and I was pleasantly surprised by the smell, Flower is one of those smells I really hate. I don't know what it is that makes me hate it, but I had the same with Eden from Cacharel. There's something in those perfumes that really makes me feel sick and want to run as far away from it as I can. Hypnôse gives me a little bit of that feeling. And believe me, I can stand lots of smells... .
I like Kenzoamour maybe because it's so serene. When you're with lots of people together and with little children, sometimes you just don't want to be noticed by your perfume. This gives me a calm, cousy feeling, ideal for a cold winter's day or evening.
06 December 2006

Miracle by Lancôme

I always got good comments on this one ('You smell gorgeous). Every guy wanted to know what I was wearing, seems that it's a very sexy fragrance (and they have to tell us).
05 December 2006

Very Irrésistible by Givenchy

I always love the smell when I walk into a perfume store (I guess everyone here does) and this smells just like it! It's like a melange of all kinds of good odeurs. A keeper!
05 December 2006

Beautiful Sheer by Estée Lauder

Like this one to, reminds me of Tommy Hilfiger
05 December 2006

Youth Dew Amber Nude by Estée Lauder

I love this one! Never tried the original though, but this one really does it for me. The only problem is, that I don't know when to wear it, it's certainly not on office-perfume as many people dislike it.
05 December 2006

Anaïs Anaïs by Cacharel

I liked this when I was a teenager, bought this a while ago but didn't seem to remember why I liked it then. Seems there's a big difference between the EDP and the EDT, I bought the EDP and my memories were of the EDT which is much better and lighter. The EDP is way to strond to call it a light perfume. Basenotes schould make a difference between these two versions.
05 December 2006

Ardenbeauty by Elizabeth Arden

Reminds me of Avon-soap, lily-perfumed. This one stays in the middle, not outstanding, something anyone could wear without being noticed. I smell citrus in it, which is not in the notes though, and a lot of lily. The topnotes are the best of this perfume, the rest is very plain.
05 December 2006

212 On Ice 2004 by Carolina Herrera

This one reminds me of Promesse by Cacharel, although I find this better because it has less floral notes. It's fresher and less nose-tickling then Promesse. A real summer fragrance which you can spray thoroughly without being it too much... .
05 December 2006

Promesse by Cacharel

I loved it and bought a bottle of it, but now I can't remember why. Probably because it's fresh and floral and I thought it would be appropriate for summer. I don't like the woody base though, it's like the only thing I smell after 5 minute wearing Promesse together with a smell of cheap soap. Not outstanding at all, this doesn't tell anything about one's personality. As a mather of fact there's something tickling my nose everytime I smell it, way to artificial.
05 December 2006

Sunny Frutti by Escada

I used this several years ago, my husband adored it. To me it rather smelled like an air fresher they use in toilets... . Way to fresh and fruity for my taste.
04 December 2006

Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker

Love this one and wish to obtain it very soon! Wanted to say that it's similar to Narcisso Rodriguez but I've seen that Ayala allready remarked this. Lovely though!
04 December 2006

Narciso Rodriguez for Her by Narciso Rodriguez

Love this one, it reminds me of Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. The EDP is more fruitier then the EDT, love the EDP version more because the fresher notes seem to stay longer.
It may occur strange but I often use this one in combination with Cristalle... everyone wants to know what I'm wearing because it's gorgeous!!
04 December 2006

Chance by Chanel

To me, this is a great fragrance! It reminds of Versace's Versus for women because it is fresh but at the same time oriental and warm. It's like you've been using two different scents at the same time. I really don't think you can put an age on fragrance users, it depends on how your personality is. I always liked heavier scents, for example: my first perfume at the age of 15 was Samsara, a couple of years later n°5 and now I'm 29 and I love Amber Nude... .
About Chance, this is a great fragrance for every day wear or at the office because it's not overwhelming at all and still lasts allday.
04 December 2006

Armani Mania for Women by Giorgio Armani

I like it, although it doesn't seem to last on my skin. I had to search for the smell on the place where I've sprayed it. Too bad, I like the head notes and on a friend of mine it smells great! A little too floral for my taste though.
04 December 2006

Society by Society Parfums

I agree! Loved it and it's ashame they've discontinued this fragrance!
04 December 2006

Cinéma by Yves Saint Laurent

From the first scent on I recognize Alchimie from Rochas, which is from the year 1999. Is very similar to this, but I guess they didn't threw as much money on advertising this perfume, so it never got as famous... . You should give it a try (if you still can find Alchimie) you will agree!
I like Cinéma though, I use it often. Especially for winter time. The eau de toilette version is available in Europe since a couple of weeks.
04 December 2006

Mélodie by Fragonard

This is a copy of Beautiful by Estee Lauder, went to the Fragonard factory in Paris en they make their perfume similar as famous brands of commercial perfumes. Loved the original Beautiful more though.
