With that powdery, yet citrussy drydown, it´s hard for me to think of this as the classic "suit scent". This is one of the older colognes, that will make the people around you aware of the fact that you´re wearing one (cologne, that is). It definitely changes its character throughout the first hour or so, to become a distinct, somehow aristrocatic smell. It´s dandyish, and if that´s what you´re looking for, this the best you can get for your money. Forget about the fact that it´s old - old can be classy.

Hmmmmmmm... this is a really strong one, you should only use in this in homeopathic doses. If you like really "animalistic" perfumes and are one hunk of a man, you could risk wearing this. But... "animalistic" is easily understood as "smells like a shitty ape cage in the public zoo", and this was my first impression. The next disappointment: not so much that it´s an old fragrance, it just smells old - there IS a difference between smelling like a gentleman - or just granpa coming from the barbershop. That said, I still find it a unique composition, and if you´re in the right age group and want longevity, you can go for this. I won´t.
