DKNY Be Delicious Men by Donna Karan
I wore this for awhile and then stopped all of a sudden and decided I just didn't much care for the scent as much as when I first purchased it. Not really unpleasant but it still sits on the bureau gathering dust. I haven't decided if I will wear it again. I for some reason think I smell sorta funky when I wear this for some odd reason. Don't quite know how to explain it but I just decided one day I didn't want to wear this one anymore and have more than half a bottle left. Won't buy again.

Givenchy pour Homme Blue Label by Givenchy
I have a bottle that I've owned for several years and don't wear it often. It smells ok on me but there's not much to say about it it. It's just okay. I like Pi better. Purchased it on sale and thought it nice enough to buy on sale.

Number 3 / Le 3me Homme / The Third Man by Caron
Nice enough fragrance, although with the anise not my absolute favorite.
Jude_C: Your comment re: Tommy I just don't quite get. Do you mean Hilfiger, Bahama? While I don't buy those if someone does I could care less. I enjoy some of Klein as well. Aren't we all adults and don't we all have the right to choose our own fragrances as do you? Just curious.

Obsession Night for Men by Calvin Klein
So I can't wear Obsession though I wish I could but I can wear this one and it does smell ok good on me. Doesn't seem to have too many complicated notes in it but what notes are in it smell pretty good on my skin and that's good enough for me. Not CK's best by any means but I'll wear it on occassion.

Gendarme by Gendarme
Have always enjoyed this and always will!! Not much else to say. Clean, clean, clean. Not much staying power but it's nice enough.

Time for Peace for Him by Kenzo
What I remember smelling about this fragrance was that I was calmed but I agree that it didn't last long that was the only drawback. You'd need a mini to freshen up with. Other than that a beautiful fragrance.

What About Adam by Joop!
I thought this was discontinued. Glad I checked here. I enjoyed this scent, especially the top notes, and will buy it again. I can wear it and well, so if you can wear something and get compliments do you - no matter what others think.

Nightflight by Joop!
I enjoyed the bottle I did have of it. I owned it once and had no complaints. Nothing particularly special but nothing objectionable. Would I purchase again? If I found an incredible sale price, then perhaps yes.

Hollywood for Men by Fred Hayman
Given as a gift I enjoy it from time to time. Others tend to like it on me actually more than I do so I wear it for them more than me. I agree it is more for evening wear than for office wear.

Sheer Obsession by Calvin Klein
Lighter than the original but just as wonderful to smell - I always think of the cartoons where the dog catches a whiff of something wonderful and floats through the air after it. This is just that beautiful (IMO of course).

cK one Summer by Calvin Klein
Have to admit I still love this after all these years. Refreshing as raindrops on the skin and the drydown is blissful. Still get asked what I'm wearing and it lasts.

Bulgari Black by Bulgari
I've enjoyed most of Bulgari's fragrance except for this one. For the life of me I can't grasp the idea of why someone would wish to smell like burnt rubber/tar/smoke or wet animal, which all these things evoke when I smell this. It smells like you've ridden on the back on the tailpipe of a bus. This is just awful stuff. In my opinion there is nothing refreshing or sweet about this one except the joy in being able to have something cold soap or body wash to get rid of the smell and open windows to permeate the room. Just god awful. I am thankful though that so many don't seem to know about this hidden gem and don't wear it too often as say "Angel".

Joop! Homme by Joop!
I have always had differences of feeling about Joop since I first smelled it years ago. It was attractive on so many people but so many people (you know who you are) wore so much of it and probably still do. Then when I tried it it didn't work on me to my dismay. although it was still a strong fragrance. When it smells great on someone it smells great on them and when it doesn't it doesn't I guess as with most anyone. If I could wear it I would but just can't but will give a thumbs up for those who can.

4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser by 4711
As I plan to reorganize my home this weekend, shred papers and mop the floors I'll be talking a bath or two and a splashing some of this on for fun to keep cool since it's been quite hot here in New York lately. I love the fragrance and it's cooling and refreshing and I couldn't care if it created in 1792 or 1192, it smells good to me.

Jungle pour Homme by Kenzo
I expected rich, dark and deep from something called Jungle pour Homme, rain forest immediately came to mind. Nothing came out of this bottle but disattisfaction. I just washed it off. It seems to be something teenagers would enjoy wearing imo than adults. I went to another website and the women said that if you wanted something exotic and spicy try Kenzo's Jungle for Women which I plan to for they said it could easily be unisex. and although I'm not a hugh licorice or anise fan I'll at least purchase a 1.7 or mini. I can't imagine being more diappointed than after having laid out my hard earned jacks for this bottle.

Noa by Cacharel
Although I didn't care much for the girl who wore this, the Noa I must say smelled wonderful on her. Pleasing to my oflactory senses and I couldn't get enough of smelling it on her. Only sour note was that she wasn't a more pleasant person. Do love the frangance

Zino Davidoff by Davidoff
Unfortunately, I purchased blindly as did a few others and that's such a dumb thing to do. Sometimes you get lucky sometimes you don't. In this case I didn't. It sits in my drawer stinking. I tried again today to give it another chance and oh boy does it smell. Oh I certainly can smell fecal notes in this as someone earlier posted mentioned. Interesting and complex doesn't begin to describe the odor. There are many adjectives that come to mind to describe this one. I can't imagine giving it away because I don't know anyone who would want to smell like this.

Polo Double Black by Ralph Lauren
I enjoy this as much if not more than the original RL Black and have even refreshed the original Black with the mini Double Black at my mother's funeral. What an occassion to have to wear this but I could think of nothing else more approprriate to wear to a funeral. I have about 30 bottles but many are too musky at the basenotes or the top notes too fresh to have worn. This did it. Will wear this one again and again and I tell people what I am wearing because I am complimented often and constantly asked what it is and it isn't worn by everyone out there which is something I also like.
19 June 2008
Polo Black by Ralph Lauren
I've enjoyed this from day one since I've worn this and will wear it again and again although I haven't smelled Roberto Cavelli Black which I've told smells better to many.
19 June 2008
Catalyst for Men by Halston
Smells like something that belongs on a ham, not on skin. Thumbs way down.

Jovan White Musk for Men by Jovan
Light, clean and lovely to smell. So sorry it's been discontinued. Will buy as long as I can find it. Not as harsh as Jovan's regular musk.

The Dreamer by Versace
I've only worn this for a few years but I'm glad a woman I worked with told me to try it. As with most people I agree the top notes start off strong but once it settles down it is absolutely wonderful and the drydown is absolutely one of the best around. I've had people, even other men tell me they don't like wearing fragrances but have asked what I am wearing because they love the smell of this. This was after 2 or 3 hours of my having the fragrance on, not at the beginning though. I will wear this continually for it is one of my favorites and is my favorite by this fragrance house.

Safari for Men by Ralph Lauren
I've never cared for this after trying it on myself or smelling it on anyone else. If I can't enjoy it on me or anyone else there's no point in wearing it or purchasing it to me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'd possibly lie and say I were wearing it if I had on Polo Double Black and someone asked what I had on and then I might say Safari.
19 May 2008
Animale Animale for Men by Animale Parfums
Smells pretty much the same as Amen for men - horrible - but much less expensive so if you for some reason like the smell of Angel buy this and go ahead and save money.

Égoïste / L'Égoïste by Chanel
I've never cared for Egoiste since its inception in 1990. It has an unusual smell to it that to this day I find medicinal and reminds me of something called Robutussin cough syrup. I would never wear this or recommend it to anyone else but do understand that everyone is different and feels differently about fragrance. Whatever floats your boat.

Halston 1-12 by Halston
Miss this fragrance. Once of the first I owned and was happy to wear it. Can still find it but it doesn't smell the same anymore.

Magnetism for Men by Escada
I purchased this one and used to wear it but applied some the other day and found it feels very feminine and perhaps should have been made as a unisex fragrance.
04 May 2008
Desire for a Man by Alfred Dunhill
I wore this several years ago and then stopped. Put it on again the other day and forgot how loud it could be. It's so syrupy sweet in the beginning but the drydown is pleasant enough. Wouldn't wear every day but from time to time. In 2002 it was over over used. Now that you don't smell it quite as much maybe I'll take it out again.
04 May 2008
Reaction for Men by Kenneth Cole
I used to love this fragrance but after discussing it with someone else who wore it decided there was something in the drydown that smelled almost bitter or chemically, that's the only way I know how to describe it. I haven't worn it over two years. Before that it was a daily wear for me but I was noticing something it the drydown and wondered if it was just me but someone else was noticing the same thing so at least I realized it wasn't just me and I didn't feel like I was on Gilligan's Island by myself. I don't know what it could be because it says there's only Sandalwood and musk in the drydown but something was goin on.

Colours for Men by Alexander Julian
Well, after going to perfumeemporium's website and all the positive reviews there and seeing it was discontinued I bought a few minis and now wish I hadn't. They smell awful. Maybe they've sat too long and just have gone bad. They certainly don't smell distinguished, clean or freh and with a hint of fresh flowers. I will never wear them and am thinking of putting them on the doorsteps of my apartment complex and I'm someone will come along and pick them up as they will be free of charge.

Royal Copenhagen Musk by Royal Copenhagen
One of the first fragrances I ever purchased and still evokes many memories for me as well. I would actually wear it again.

Anthracite pour L'Homme by Jacomo
Really is a shame this was discontinued and all that's left is a mess.

Angel by Thierry Mugler
Standing waiting for the train to arrive a beautiful woman starts walking towards me. She had to be 20 feet away and yet there was no mistaking the Angel she had on wrapping itself around me like tentacles. To my horror she got on the same subway car and sat directly across from me. My eyes began to burn and stomach wanted to heave, so heavy and cloying was this fragrance. Both versions of Angel I wish could be outlawed in the U.S. Luckily it wasn't rush hour and I had to get up and move away to another seat far away from her. Pity because other than her fragrance choice she was beautiful to look at. I really can't give this enough thumbs down.

Britto Man by Romero Britto
Whatever the notes are in this keep it far away from me. You can smell it coming down the street. There is something in it that truly repulses me and you know it fromf afar. It's a distinct, sweet, sickening smell that I can't tolerate. I smelled it too often when it first came out and luckily I don't smell it as often as I used too but when I do there is no mistaking this creation. Two thumbs WAY down.

Eau Sauvage by Christian Dior
I love this fragrance on others but on me I can't wear like so many other fragrances. To those who can wear it more power to them!!

Christmas Tree by Demeter Fragrance Library
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree forever true your colours!! I have this one and wear it with pleasure and would recommend it to anyone for the early fall through the winter. It's just great.

My first Demeter fragrance that I still wear and I love it!

Michael for Men by Michael Kors
This would be my number two least favorite of all time behind Angel for Men. Will never understand it's appeal. Don't care how many fi fi awards it's gotten it just plain stinks imo. I remember several years ago getting a bottle for a gift, opening and smelling what was inside and being so devastated. After finding out what she paid for it I was shocked. I didn't let her know of my unhappiness so as not to hurt her feelings, but you may as well scrape your hand to the inside of a garbage dumpster and apply that to your neck and you'll have the refreshing smell of Michael Kors for free.

Spark for Men by Liz Claiborne
I have to say I like Spark a lttle more than Spark Seduction. I gave my bottle of Spark away and am left with Spark Seduction which I rarely wear. I don't find that Spark smells exactly like Varvatos which I also own, far from it. Everyones olfactory senses are different I imagaine. I did wear Spark but rarely the Spark Seduction. I imagine I like fragrances with fig in them and perhaps that's why I like Spark so much. And it smelled good on me wherein Seduction smorta smells blase on me. I owned over 50 bottles of fragrances and gave so many away and now regret it. I gave this one guy a bottle of Green Irish Tweed cause I didn't really care for it and he droped the bottle and broke it on the way home. If I knew that's what his plans for it would be I would have just kept it and not worn it. Some people are too funny. I gave away Minataure, etc., etc., and now wish I had just kept them cause now I pretty much gotta start over. I won't buy the same things again but now I will do more listening to you guys post more and sneak to the department stores and try them out then go online and buy (only way to do it!!)
27 April 2008
Spark Seduction for Men by Liz Claiborne
I like both Spark Seduction and Spark and unfortunately gave my bottle of Spak away. I wish I hadn't because I think I liked the original Spark somewhat more. I rarely wear this. It's a nice fragrance but if I don't wear something and it just sits in the draw what's the point of owning it. I can't remember the last time I wore it. Maybe I'll put some on today. For some reason I don't feel that I stand out when wearing it as I do when I wear other fragrances.
27 April 2008
Claiborne for Men by Liz Claiborne
I was so angry when this was discontinued. I loved this fragrance! I thought this and Claibrone Sport were the best two she ever put out for men (damn all the curves and the bora boras) I was outraged. I would apply this and put on Sergio Soldano Black and everyone wanted to kow what I had on and since I had on two things I smiled and said one or the other never telling them the real truth.
27 April 2008
Nemo by Cacharel
Of all Cacharel fragrances this one did nothing for my skin. It smelled good on others just not on me. On me it smelled synthetic while on others I smelled the incense and was a bit jealous. But I don't wear everything well and this one I couldn't. I kept hoping one day I could but now it's discontinued, but I guess I'll search on line for it and find a bottle for the collection just like I dream of one day hoping that Obsession will smell good on me too.
27 April 2008
Old Spice by Procter & Gamble
I purchased two bottles of this a couple of years ago just for the hell of it and never wore it but after reading these reviews decided to finally try it on and I really do like it. Whether the formulae has changed I can't say because my box says Proctor & Gamble and I remember as a kid (I'm 43) a lot of adult men wearing this and the smelling so good so it must have been made by Shulton then, but it still smells good then. Someone mentioned it smells better after it sits in the bottle after a few years and mine did that and I'm enjoying it now. It's definitely not soemthing I'll wear everyday by any means but I will wear it from time to time.
19 April 2008
Tempore Uomo by Laura Biagiotti
I love this scent from Biagiatti. It's another winner. I smell so much going on all at once but I love it and the drydown is very nice. I have only smelled this and Roma but can't wait to try other fragrances by this Biagiatti.
18 April 2008
Roma Uomo by Laura Biagiotti
I have loved this for several years now. Every note from top to bottom suits my skin, which doesn't seem to like every fragrance out there even if I like them on others. Thanks Roma Uomo. So many Thumbs WAY WAY UP!!
18 April 2008
Carlos Santana for Men by Carlos Santana
It must smell better on others obviously because this doesn't do anything on my skin and I've tried it several times. I'm one of those people, I guess most of us are really, where something either smells good on you or it doesn't. It's not a bad smell at all but it doesn't do anything for my skin. I can smell the apple, cinnamon and so on but they aren't awe inspiring on my skin, just not good on me. I actually wish I could wear more fragrances than I can but I'm one of those people that loves a lot of scents but can't wear many of them because they don't smell right on me.
16 April 2008
Royall Lyme by Royall Lyme of Bermuda
I recall my uncle wearing this as a kid growing up and so I have fond memories of it. I've owned it in the past and still like it although I don't think it has that long of a staying power but it's still overall a great scent. I will take EricM's advise and try St. John's Bay Lime which I've heard of but have never tried.
15 April 2008
Individuel by Mont Blanc
This is a beautiful fragrance and I agree with Mario Justiani about it smelling better than Cristobal. This is one of my favorite fragrances and I look for discounts for it whenever I run low. Wonderful fragrance and I am glad I took others advise and tried it and purchased it. It is unforgettable and I'm constantly complimented on it. Thanks Mont Blanc.
15 April 2008
Ignition by Lomani
This is the one of the few scents that I have ever enjoyed after learning it had anise in it. I love this scent and although more and more me are wearing it now you still don't smell it as much as mainstream fragrances which is still a good thing. Would recommend it to anyone and it's something that smells good on me too.
15 April 2008
Armani Code / Black Code by Giorgio Armani
I smelled this and liked it on someone else and will try it on me. It was slightly spicy but since it was early morning it was probably the middle notes I was smelling which were pleasant. Sorta can't wait to see if I can wear this since I don't wear some fragrances I like on others well.
15 April 2008
Fahrenheit by Christian Dior
When Fahrenheit first came out I disliked it and now I still feel the same way and thank the Good Lord I smell it less often but when I do there is no mistaking it. When it first came out every other guy wore it and there was something in the fragrance that was nauseating to me (Lensticus maybe, never heard of that) but oh how I longed to get away from it. And how much they'd spray on and still do. To wear this to an office is to cause panic attacks in co-workers. The smell lingers on elevators and after you've left the room.
15 April 2008
Obsession by Calvin Klein
I love to smell this fragrance on a woman. Have loved it since it made it's debut amd always will. It's such a sensual, sexy fragrance if worn by the right woman and some women just don't wear it well like any other fragrance. Can be loud if too much is applied like most other fragrances too, but most adults by now I would think should know how to apply fragrance but unfortunately a lot don't.
15 April 2008
Obsession for Men by Calvin Klein
I've always loved this fragrance since it came out on on other people. The notes blend very nicely from top to bottom as long as the wearer doesn't apply too much. However, I just can't wear it (gasp, shock). That I can't stand!! It just doesn't smell good on me and doesn't smell like it's supposed too. It smells like a completely different fragrance and not like Obsession at all and I've asked many women their opinion and they've agreed and I've put it on with another guy in the office and it smelled like it's supposed to on him and not on me and I am just sorry I can't wear it because I love this fragrance to no end. Always have, always will. Have a bottle hoping one day that maybe my body chemistry will alter and maybe I can pull it off (my little dream).
15 April 2008
Incanto pour Homme by Salvatore Ferragamo
I am liking this as well. There is only one I really don't like by Ferragamo. It's the Incanto Essential which essentially I won't wear and won't bother judiging.
13 April 2008
L'Eau D'Issey pour Homme by Issey Miyake
I don't know Vibert nor am I am I as articulate about fragrances as Vibert but I have to agree about L'Eau D'Issey pour Homme. Can't take the fragrance. I don't care who wears it it smells like chemicals to me and I've tried it on my skin and it did nothing for me. I've smelled it on countless (COUNTLESS) others and didn't care for the smell on them either so it must be the fragrance. Some things are for some people and some things aren't I guess. For those who love this fragrance, and obviously most here love it, enjoy it in good health.
13 April 2008
Marc Jacobs for Men by Marc Jacobs
I love this fragrance!!! From top to bottom the notes do something on my skin that people in general appreciate. While most people seem to like this more than Salvatore Ferragamo I like them both equally and wear them at different times depending on how I feel. Marc Jacobs isn't something I wear daily though, once every so often I wear this one. Don't want anyone sweating my fragrances!!
13 April 2008
Salvatore Ferragamo by Salvatore Ferragamo
This really is a delicious scent and I will also wear this a long time as I wear it well. The first person I smelled who had it on I wanted to choke to tell me what he was wearing (instead I just asked and he told me). I love this one and it's certainly worth buying and I usually can't stand fragrances with anise in them (didn't know it until today.
13 April 2008
Incanto pour Homme Essential by Salvatore Ferragamo
I have this and although most folks at perfumeemporium give it great reviews and some say it's Ferragomo's best I couldn't agree less. I really don't know what to do with it much less wear it.
13 April 2008
Salvatore Ferragamo pour Homme by Salvatore Ferragamo
I've loved this for years now and the notes are awesome on me. I love the fig and the drydown. It has always sort of reminded me in a way of Marc Jacobs for men. I will always buy this as long as it's sold. It's not expensive and smells great.
13 April 2008
Borsalino by Borsalino
I wore back in the 80s and loved it but I find it very hard to find and it's very expensive. I would certainly wear it again. While I agree that it's not the most unique fragrance, it reminded me somewhat of Sergio Soldano Black which I found harder to find so I wore this at the time. Would definitely wear again but when I look online now it's like 100.00 (USD) a bottle and I'm not really trying to go there. Nice fragrance though.
11 April 2008
A*Men / Angel Men by Thierry Mugler
This must be the worst fragrance I have ever had the misfortune of smelling and men wear it as if they came off an assembly line. To be stuck on a crowded subway near someone who has on this loud, cloying, nauseating fragrance is an experience that makes the eyes tear. The womens version is almost as bad. Rochas Man, with similar notes, was made SO much better and doesn't make the eyes burn or make you wish to run for fresh air as does Angel. I hear people say "oh it depends on how much you spray and so on. . ." I say you can't make something that smells bad smell good. That's just my humble opinion. Peace to all Angel fans around the world.
11 April 2008
Basi Homme by Armand Basi
Such a great fragrance!! Fragrance doesn't get much better than this. I love tis one and am thoroughly enjoying my bottle and when asked what I'm wearing I'm tempted to tell guys it's Hi Karate or British Sterling (lol). I love the fragrance from the top notes to bottom notes and purchased it without smelling based on reviews and normally don't do that but was so pleasantly surprised with it when I opened the bottle. Thank you Armand Basi.
11 April 2008
Lucky Number 6 for Men by Lucky Brand
Wonderful fragrance from Lucky You. Spicy and oriental and luckily nothing like Dior's Fahreheit or I wouldn't have purchased (can't stand Fahrenheit). Just a beautiful fragrance that if it fits your body chemistry will get you many compliments.
11 April 2008
Uomo? Moschino by Moschino
I love this fragrance by Moschino as well as Friends. What I thought was fig I now see is Kumquat. They mix their notes well and the drydown is quite musky and is a wonderful drydown. I am hooked and would recommend this most definitely to others. More of an evening scent to me wherein Friends seems like something to wear with jeans and in the spring and in the summer.
11 April 2008
Moschino Friends Men by Moschino
I love this fragrance! The notes from the top to the middle are refreshing and the bottom has just enough musk. It is a subtle fragrance which is the only drawback for me but I absolutely love it. It reminds me of walking along the Mediterranean seashore and I would HIGHLY recommend this to friends (or maybe not snce I don't want everyone smelling as good as me!!)
11 April 2008
M7 by Yves Saint Laurent
Imagine telling someone you must have good taste in order to like this. I have good taste and I don't like this fragrance. Differences make the world go around. If I was given it as a gift I'd return it to the store. It does absolutely nothing for me, even with those agarwood notes. Stu
