Red for Men by Giorgio Beverly Hills
One touch of RED and you have it all -
the spirited elegance of Beverly Hills. Rich. Refined. A bit unpredictable and completely irresistible.
RED. Nothing so invisible was ever so exciting. Only Giorigio Beverly Hills could have created it.

Fleur du Male by Jean Paul Gaultier
Gaultier pushed the envelope a little too far on this one or should I say he was in a rush to and missed what ever he was trying to achive.
This smell like a bad body spray imposter no less of Giorigo Beverly Hills for women. Its the sweet over kill of orange flower which reminds me of that.
In my mind what should have been done (again this is in my mind) Jean Paul should have tweeked his original Le Male. Work with that unique scent throw some spiced rum into the mix - create an edp version of Le Male! Make the bottle black covered in shinny rubber -give it some tattoos on the body - pierce the nipple.. These are some ideas original ones then this female scent you are trying to push on us.

Joop! Go by Joop!
It's green like a Jolly Rancher candy and sure smells like one in the opening notes - very green and fruity. Then on the down dry the fragrance changes it gets oriental with a tonka bean accord and becomes a carbon copy of Joop Jump. Yep this is like Joop Jump geared at a younger 20-something crowd.

Joop! Homme by Joop!
A great causal fragrance geared to the men who want to be noticed and to leave a calling card behind This fragrance demands risk! It's should be worn to a club or a rock concert and throw conservative out the window!

Animale for Men by Animale Parfums
What a hidden gem of the early 90 scents. Yes its overly sweet and heady on the lavender and musk - but hey Eternity for men was just has heavy at that time.
The scent just reminds me of 1990 - its a scent to lavish on. It very long lasting and leaves a heady sillage trail.
Add it to your collection!

Ditto smells a like a watered down version of Versace Black Jeans.

Pheromone for Men by Marilyn Miglin
Not a synthetic at all! Pheromone for men along with its women' counter part contain all natural oils. This my be the big reason so many are turned off by the smell - for its the first time an untrained nose is smell..fine quality spikenard, oakmoss, kyphi(which is made from wine resin, dates, etc).
The scent is rich in Egypt ancient culture and the seven sacred oils many used from the Opening of the Mouth Ceremony. This is not a scent for everyone - very much green in nature and ancent incense and oils.
To me I can see some one who wants to walk to their own beat wearing this - its for a select few, very much how Aromatics Elixir is to some women.

Very long lasting scent! I can not understand any saying it fades in 2 - 3 hours.
On my skin this scent is a powerhouse that after a while I can't take it anymore. Its to the point of smelling like sawdust.

Curve Kicks for Men by Liz Claiborne
I must say Claiborne is pushing recycling the Curve name these days. This scent reminds very much of Iceberg Twice.
Twice I find to be more complex and much more longer lasting and nicer bottle.
Curve Kicks looks like more attention was paid to the tin can and no money left for the bottle.

Polo by Ralph Lauren
The true American Classic!
When Ralph Lauren came out with this scent his idea was to embody the image and lifestyle of the Polo brand.
To this present day I have yet to find a designer fragrance that so well meshes with the aesthetics of the brand it represents.
Polo - the bottle - the scent - the classic.

Chaps by Ralph Lauren
I agree this scent seems to get a bad rap sometimes. But I find it to be one of the most unique leather chypre made. To me it greatly resembles Amounge Silver but not so heady. The dry down is very much like a classic leather scent against powdery moss.
Yes I have received may good comments on this fragrance it has a very good silage.

Hugo Energise by Hugo Boss
I have to say when you compare this one to the Hugo in the canteen bottle this one is better. Its very unique fruity floral with a deep woody base. I find that women really like this one and it is not a light scent. This one produces a lot of sillage and is very very long lasting.

Paris Hilton for Men by Paris Hilton
Yes the name on the bottle does make you cring (well me at least) But I have to say its an original scent something very diffrent for men. Its very fresh with over ripe fruits and a deep marine musk accord. Yes, I was impressed.

Herrera Aqua by Carolina Herrera
The bottle is a beautiful work of art. Its thin accented with chrome and a unique spray button. What I really like is that the bottle carries on the Carolina Herrera bottle theme of over laid shapes(carolina herrera, herrera for men). Well, done I like motifs.
The scent. No, its not like Aqua di Gio....No its not like 212 H20 or is it a reworked Herrera for men.
Put everything out of your head about Aqua scents in the past 7 years. Now take a step with Carolina and her view of Aqua.
The scent is grown up not teenage Curve or Aramani. First it opens with a very minty blast contrasted with a tonka bean sweetness. At this point I almost catch a shade of Le Male with those notes. The scent then soften with nice weather woods think a deck on beach house made of sandalwood left to weather in the sun and surf. Not sharp wood but soften by the elements of water. I also detect that Chic for men feeling here.
The base is the signature Herrera Musk Notes. The same musk base first made in Herrera for men and also found in 212 Men. It is very very rich in this scent and powerful gives lingering sillage. I really love this base of the scent.
I truly understand now this is a totally different view point for a water scent and its about time some had the guts to do.
Wonderful scent. You did good Carolina (I know you would you have not let me down yet!)--The Scentimus

JHL by Aramis
A great spicy oriental scent smoldering with incense. No longer made and if you can find it you need to pay a kings randsome. I suggest you go to the Estee Lauder counter and buy a bottle of Cinnabar it 100% the same scent for a mare $30.00 bucks.

Colors Uomo by Benetton
This is one of the most unique scents to come from the 80's. Actually it really has a 80's feeling to it. It starts off fresh like a lemon sweet tart candy drop after mid way through the scent it changes to very adult with deep woods contrasted with sweet vanilla.

Eryo by Yves Rocher
I love this scent it is a deep oriental with very deep mediterranean notes and influences.
It starts fresh and bright then warms ups with deep wood tones and settles on sweet notes of vanilla and tonka bean.
The scent is very high quality and lasts all day. Think of this scent as Nikos Sculpture meets Allure and Kouros came along for a threesome.
If you really want to stand out amount the crowd try this unique oriental.

Tiffany for Men by Tiffany
I can not believe no one has yet reviewed this scent! Well let me be the first. Tiffany for men is a very sophisticated fragrance it exuded the richness and refinement of the Tiffany & Company image. A very well crafted scent that is rich with out being overwhelming and very long lasting! The scent open with a crisp citrus note but then warms down to the most unique oriental blend of sandalwood & nutmeg.
I also like the idea that this fragrance can ONLY be purchased directly at Tiffany it givs an aura of mystic to the fragrance that many other jeweler scents don't have.
In closing Tiffany is the best of American luxe.

Oscar de la Renta pour Lui by Oscar de la Renta
A classic I think for a scent that has been around since 1980. I remember when it first came out it was daring to use such rich florals opening notes for a mens scent.
This scent when first sprayed can come on very strong but after awhile it settles down very nicely and stays close to the skin.
Very well made and I hear the Oscar himself wears it has his signature scent!

Chic for Men by Carolina Herrera
Herrera strikes gold again!
This scent is a great follow up to the popular 212. A light and long lasting fruity modern oriental.
The scent is a unique blend of fresh airy fruits that burst out and then settles to very aromatic notes. After a while a very modern oriental base immerses with a slight sweetness that cuts the aromatic notes. Just when you think the scent is going oriental those airy fruits jump out at you.
This is a very wearable scent perfect for anytime and very upbeat.. modern..and wearable Chic!

Black by Kenneth Cole
If clean is sexy then this scent is the bomb...the sex bomb!
I have yet to encounter a scent that has captured the sharp fresh wet notes of clean as Black. It is the scent of opening the wash after the last spin cycle....the snapping of a fresh clean t-shirt from your dresser....the electric scent of wet air after a thunderstorm...
The scent does have a deeper darker smoky side that accents the freshness and give the scent deeper depth. In all this scent knocks out the first Kenneth Cole scent and is much more longer lasting, I found it lingering all day long. It is one of those scents that after awhile your nose will turn it off and you will not be able to smell on yourself so don't over do a good thing.

OP Juice by Ocean Pacific
This is a very heady tropical fruity scent. It is very long lasting and puting too much on can be overwhelming to you and others around you. I do find the sprayer on the bottle to be the most enoying thing ever invented.

Desire Blue by Alfred Dunhill
A much better version of Desire. A very unique Marine/Oriental scent. This one is very recalling of Sculpture Homme by Nikos Perfumes. It very watery and summer and has the oriental twist that makes it great for nights out. The Desire Red just had too much patchouli notes going on with woods.

Cuiron Pour Homme by Helmut Lang
I do like it a lot...its not a strong harsh leather scent nor is it a muted leather scent.
I does have a clean musk note lurking back there against the leather.

Touch for Men by Fred Hayman
First off love the bottle! A clear rectangle bottle like Romance For Men with black T cap top. The front of the bottle has raised red like wax seal with the mark of the House of Fred Hayman. The jus is a deep amber color. Just show how simple a bottle can look yet be sophisticated.
The scent is very unique, I think I would classify it as fourgere/oriental ? I don't know!
It open up with heady Lavender/Orange Flower notes almost smells like Brut opening notes.
Then kicks in the steady heavy amber notes like pancake syrup.
Right now it smells like Root Beer on me. I think the idea on this scent was to go for a classic type scent as in the same frame as Pour Un Homme from Caron?

Bel Ami by Hermès
What a beautiful scent. A nice Chypre/Floral/Leather scent is nothing like Anteaus very very different the leather notes are so nicely soften.
The scent does NOT have the lethal edge that Anteaus which can hit you over the head like a bat. The scent is very subtle stays close to the skin. It is unique how the leather is blended with smokey like notes not a heavy notes but you can smell it in the background which reminds me of oak leafs being raked and burned on cool crisp autumn day.
A very classy scent and I am totally glad to have added this to my collection. Just a while ago I smelled from the bottle big mistake, I'm sure this is what turned me off to it years ago you need to smell this one on the skin.
The scent is so subtle that it is wearable for both dress and casual in cool fall weather. The bottle I received from Scentiments is fresh stock, I can tell by the box.

Paradox for Men Blue by Jacomo
Paradox is a very interesting fragrance. The only other scent that comes close to it is Nemo by Cacharel.
Paradox has a very oceanic note to it but the base or platform of the scent is a woody oriental.
The scent is clean fresh and clean but not by citrus notes or the over done marine notes found in scents, its more with florals while it is also deep oriental semisweet woody. It is a scent that stays medium to the skin meaning no one would have to be on top of you to smell it.
I personally love the scent and give kudos to Jacomo to producing such a new millennium scent for men.

Intuition for Men by Estée Lauder
Yes, Intuition is here! At least were I live!
I did bend and got myself a large spray. It is in the same line as Allure for men but better not so sharp and heavy sweet.
The bottle is just beautiful. The poster model for the scent is a very dark mysterious man.

Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent
A total rediscovery of this fragrance for me!
Its very unique it very sharp to the nose in it opening notes. What make this scent stand out to me is the deep blend of sandalwood and rose, it different for men's scent and I sure this was a fragrance way ahead of it time.
Over all it blends quietly on the stink to say true all day. I highly recommend this if you want something against the grain of all the citrus scent out now. Very great for summer.
I also love the redesigned bottle it plays great on the reflection of light and black and white.

Body Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent
I really enjoy this fragrance and feel it is a real step up or modernization for the Kouros line. I've always been a very athletic person and love the whole body range. The stuff is great after a hot shower at the gym from weight lifting. The cooling body gel is great for the skin and the new all over body spray is WOW on the skin!

Givenchy pour Homme by Givenchy
Today I tried the new Givenchy Homme. The bottle is very striking art deco style with a deep metallic maroon color, very hard to describe you have to see it. You want to pick this bottle up. The spray button reminded me of a car door lock, I believe the bottle is designed after the art deco styling of a old Jaguar.
The fragrance smells very much like Fendi Theorema Uomo, spicy, fresh, green and heavy with dava notes.

Présence by Mont Blanc
The fragrance is rich yet fresh long lasting but not over powering. I think this is a really great early fall scent perfect for work to causal to dress.
The bottle truly a work of art, right to the spray that if you look closely is the Mont Blanc trade mark star.
It is the middle notes of heliotrope that gives it that sensual almond aroma. Very seductive indeed. Jaipar Homme uses heliotrope very heavily which is another favorite scent of mine but this scent takes it much lighter.
This scent is I feel for a more mature male 26 to 40. An established person with direction. Though I don't bar it from the young but I feel a 15-18 year old would have problems pulling this one off.

Or Black by Pascal Morabito
I love this scent.
This scent is a very rich leather chypre so modern 70's style.
A blend of bergamot, Pepper, Leather, Sage, Benjoin, Cistus, Vetiver, Amber, Tonkinian musc, Oak moss.
Think of the scent like Antaeus meets DK Fuel for men, very rich yet very unusual. It has the powdery leather/oak moss notes of Antaeus, yet it is softened and almost suede like with Tonkinian Musk.

Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme by Van Cleef & Arpels
I just love this scent for fall. It is a blend of Cistus top notes with a complex middle of jasmine, rose petals and clove. The base is deep vetiver, sandalwood and oakmoss. When you sniff the bottle you can really smell the rose. To me this is a refined scent that just smell expensive.

Higher by Christian Dior
The scent smells like a light carbon copy of Tommy. It is a very light scent but last a while. I am so surprised at Dior, Farhenhiet was so cutting edge at it time yet this Higher is just like everything else and more geared toward a 18 to 24 crowd. Sad.

Blu pour Homme by Bulgari
Today I received my B L V homme by Bvlgari with much anticipation.
With greedy enthusiasm I open the box to find a shinny metallic blue box inside! Inside the blue box a heavy hefty wedged clear bottle with a blue square painted on the front (BLV Homme) and back (Bvlgari). The cap is brushed silver. Very plain very sophisticated very Bulgari.
Cresting on a fragrance high I sprayed the scent on my arm!
Disappointment : ( !!Crash!!
The scent is not what I anticipated or dreamed. It is very bright fresh and greatly resembof hair shampoo. The scent is very light and hugs the skin the same way the original Bulgari Pour Homme does, in order to smell my arm I need to put my nose into it. On the down dry green spices and I believe a bamboo note comes out. A scent thats been done before or resembles ones done before. I really thought Bulgari would break away from the past and come out with something different. I guess Black was too off the wall for them so they laid back to the past and stayed with the original Pour Homme structure.

Caron Pour Un Homme by Caron
Its very gross and very dated smelling. When I was little my dad would take me to the local barber for a crew. I remember the smell of the cheep barbar aftershave they would splash on the guy they would shave THIS is what this stuff smells like.
Sicky sweet and loaded with lavender.

Michael for Men by Michael Kors
The scent is very different and rich. Very heavy in tobacco, incense, patchouli and exotic spices. To give you an idea if you ever smelled Angel for woman take away the sweet chocolate and caramel notes and that rich tobacco patchouli bottom notes that are left is very close to Michael.
It is a scent that you catch a whiff and your attracted to it and want to smell your wrist. It is amazing how close they made it to the woman version in its richness and opulent nature the both really complement each other.
I was told the scent moves in three levels and not to rub it let it dry down. The scent does last a little goes a long way. I personally would not wear this scent for work or casual wear its really for cold night going out or romantic times together.
This is the ultimate fall/winter scent!

Herrera for Men by Carolina Herrera
It has always been tagged as the scent for a man created by a woman. I must admit it is true I have not yet found one woman that would turn up their nose to this scent.
A real floral/woody blend that has a presence and makes you be noticed when worn.

Cristobal pour Homme by Balenciaga
Cristobal Homme a very very opulent baroque oriental scent. This scent is very well made and accents the woman's version perfectly. The fragrance is rich in tea, amber, golden tobacco, rich coffee, and oriental spices. With this scent containing coffee and amber it is NOTHING like Rochas Man or Angel for men, the latter two are sweet were in Cristobal the coffee gives the scent a very bitter bite, kind of like the bite you find in Joop Homme and Dolce & Gabbana. This is a scent that if you OD on it you could make yourself very ill, it very rich and lingering trail. I would not say this is for the office or casual wear but dress up and not for the summer a must for fall and winter cold days. The scent does come in a lighter version called cologne d' orient which is much fresher and lighter. I love the scent, the bottle is beautiful the fragrance is a unique pale blue/green.

Yesterday pick up a bottle of the original Flannel because of all the talk here about it recently. It is unique how this scent was so ahead of its time. Very floral and woody and clean. Nothing else I think copies this scent.

Armand Basi Homme by Armand Basi
I love this scent much lighter than 'BY' Dolce & Gabanna meaning less on the tobacco. The scent is much more longer lasting on me (whole day) than 'BY' is and has a nice spiced amber notes. I'm hooked..

Fahrenheit by Christian Dior
I remember wearing this scent in the late 80's it was remarkable and still unlike anything else on the men's market. The mix of floral and woods blended just right that not female at all. Now Dior seem to be breathing new life in the scent by relaunching it. I received to beautifully packaged spray sample this past month and WOW I'm in love with this scent again. I may buy this one again, it seems when your away from these thing then smell them again there even better!

Its okay! I though I would like it because it reminded me of DK Fuel with the suede. I've only wore it once and don't think I'll wear it again

DKNY Men by Donna Karan
Personally, I find it very sharp and I agree with Ernie the bottle is awful! Too narrow and just stupid looking.

Allure Homme by Chanel
Polges created this scent along with an advanced team from Chanel. Much research went into this fragrance it was developed at a private Island some where off of Greece. The scent is not designed like a pyramid with top, middle and bottom notes.
Instead it is designed like a multifaceted diamond when not one note goes away instead they keep bouncing off one another, the womans is designed the same way.
I also read in the article they had machines testing the scent on men while the walked tread mills to see if the scent would break down during physical excertion.
Chanel put a lot into this scent it was geared to the Western world. Very 2001 tech for Chanel huh...

Touch for Men by Burberry
I really like the deep lingering white musk note in this fragrance, very clean and great for spring

Boss Bottled by Hugo Boss
I like the Boss #6 scent, it did take awhile to grow on me at first I found it too sweet like candy. It's like Chanel's Allure for men but more on the sweet notes

Insensé by Givenchy
This is one of my favorite Givenchy scents and I always reach for it around spring time. A very unique scent... I will admit is the only men's scent around that is very rich in florals (floral/woody/amber) possibily why it was pulled from sales in the United States, it was too racy. Yet I really don't like the Ultramarine version though.

Égoïste / L'Égoïste by Chanel
The original Egoiste is a very rich vanilla and sandalwood scent, very very long lasting. I use to love the scent and wore it all the time...but have since moved on to others. Think of the scent like Obsession for men but much sweeter.

Blue Jeans by Versace
You can't beat it, it's clean, fresh, yet warm and alluring.. None of the other Versace Jeans scents match it in my view.

Jaïpur Homme by Boucheron
This is one of my favorite fragrances. I personally like the eau de parfum version of the scent, which is a little more richer on the wood notes, and less on the fresh like the edt. I use the scent to dress up going out. This is NOT a scent for casual.

Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin by Lolita Lempicka
Personally, I would have to rank it one of the best mens scents of 2000. You've got to admit it took balls to incorporate the same notes of the womans scent into the fragrance! Where as most fragrances for men and woman just share the names but not notes. The bottle is also ingenious in its interpretation of the womans. A very stand out of the crowd scent.

Aramis by Aramis
Aramis is one of those love it or hate it fragrances. You can't smell it from the bottle you have to try this one on. For some reason it gets negative feed back because some people take a bath in it.
