fresh green paste composed of Sage with a good amount of Jasmine mashed into it which forms the heart of this scent. Sage is quite amplified (much more than let me play the Lion)...the honeysuckle note, like Jaime said, is the one which tilts the equation and it reminded me of the Serge Lutens Chergui(it does have the green quality of chergui). the interplay of notes is pretty good upclose but the sillage is that of a pretty generic green scent. not bad, but there are better scents out there. for eg. Tauers Vetiver Dance eats this up in no time in terms of versatality. Chergui comes a close second. but then Chergui is pretty heady mix. a must try for lovers of nature and green scents. a neutral coz i don't find it tht exciting, others may very well do.

This has a pleasant, citrus-green opening. I think the middle is truly lovely. I’m not usually a floral fan, but this is beautiful. I get all the scents: jasmine, violet (flower and leaf), honeysuckle, and rose. They are fresh, translucent, and natural (not synthetic). They are light, and although not heavy or terribly sweet they do make a statement. Their effect in combination reminds me of lilac. The dry-down moves to a violet leaf centre. Bright, a bit piercing. I always find violet leaf to be an acquired taste; but I have to say this is pretty good. It is a kinder, gentler Grey Flannel. The sweet almond, musk and especially the vanilla are thankfully restrained in treatment. This is OK, quite nice in fact. But I agree that it is not a very ‘green’ scent.

there is nothing green in this fragrance. its more the idea of a color. it is floral, where the honeysuckle skips the through the composition.

My second favourite from this line but that’s not saying a lot.

The problem is that the composition fails to say anything that hasn’t already been said before. It smells like many other green niche scents currently on the market - the notes indicate that this may not be the case but this is contrary to the reality. The violet notes do make brief appearances, every once in a while, but this is simply not enough to differentiate itself from similar offerings.

If you’re looking for a quality green scent, you’d be better off trying Sisley’s excellent Eau De Champagne, or one of the many green offerings from both MPG and Diptyque.
