Love this, very fresh and light but floral and feminine. I think I smell the moonflower under the lime and lemon. 24 September 2008

It's absolutely positive! All the people like it! 13 September 2008

I love it , love it, love it! Yes it is sweet, but not sickly-so. Although quite "candy-like" it is definately not in the same vein as the heavy & oft-cloying "Angel" or "Flowerbomb". I find Anna Sui's Dolly Girl Bonjour L'Amour to be quite similar. It's an uplifting fragrance that always turns my frown upside down. 10 July 2008

I'm onto my second bottle of Nina, it is a gorgeous fruity, sweet (the toffee apple is delicious) and light. The scent does not have particularly good staying power on my skin but I have noticed it stays on my clothes for days! (not that I dont wash my clothes or anything...) It's a lovely, inoffensive scent, perfect for daytime wear, for people who like sweet and fruity perfumes, has to be one of my favourites. 15 June 2008

I have never had so many compliments on a perfume. It is bright and light, sugary, yet womanly somehow. My husband also loves it and he is very hard to please. Perfect for everyday wear, fresh in summer and a warm hug in winter. 13 June 2008

The first time I tried Nina I just wanted to get out of the store. I disliked it. Alot. A few months later at another store, the salesgirl suggested I'd try it. Minutes later I found myself buying the cutest little bottle ever. It stays close to the skin, which to me probably prevents it from becoming too much of a good thing. I like to describe Nina as sweet, fruity, girlish and, for some reason, naive. It's careless, happy and adorable. 06 April 2008

A fun fragrance that comes in a precious little apple-shaped bottle with a chain of silver leaf charms (1.0 oz. bottle). It looks adorable with my other bottles. This is a creamy, slightly syrupy sweet fragrance that is the kind of thing I wear when I take my kids to Disneyland. It's pure sugary fun and brightness. If you're looking for something seductive, don't look here. Nina is for those times you want to smell sweet and bright, and natural. It's clean and cuddly and feminine, but not little-girlish. Nina starts out with a citrus burst, but the toffee apple notes (mostly toffee, the apple is weak on me) emerge very quickly, and stay put. Nina is by no means unique, but it's enjoyable, and if, like me, you're crazy for bottles, this is worth the asking price on discount fragrance sites. I've read some reviews that say this calls to mind the original Poison, and, as far as a note in the drydown goes, for some fleeting moments, I agree. There is definitely a note, or a feeling I get that calls Poison to mind. Nina, however, has none of the darkness or cloying oddness of Poison, and the impression doesn't last long. But there's some sort of juicy note in there that brings back a very old memory..The lasting power of Nina is very good, and the fragrance stays close enough to the skin that no one in the workplace will be reporting their perfume allergies to HR because of you. 02 November 2007

Gorgeous bottle! Really caught my attention, which is how I ended up trying Nina. I love it on paper, and on my daughter - who smells wonderful wearing notes of cedar - but on my own skin it was not as nice. The top notes like toffee-apple are succulent! IMO the woodsy base completely off-sets the sweetness and produces an exquisite balancing act with lasting power that will knock your socks off! 11 October 2007

I've never tried the old nina butthe way you describe is not the kind of smell i'll enjoy. In dispite of that one the latest nina version is definetly awsome.it is a fragrance destinated for 20's till 29 or 30 years old but it won´t be ofensive on older women. tou can notice apple and pineapple candy, it's a sweet'n sour concoction that will drive you far away to your happy days. the heart includes tomato blossom, peony, and exotic hibiscus. the bottom creamy musk and orris wood. recomended for collectors, the bottle is charming; also recomended for romantic women at any age. 09 March 2007

I was first attracted by the bottle, then I tried the scent. It's very fresh, very clean scent, yet sweet at the same time. It could probably because of the Toffee Apple... I don't think it smells like Poison at all. It's definitely not as offensive as Poison. It's a good scent that I'd stongly recommend to my friends. 17 October 2006

Yes! I now own a bottle of the new Nina, thanks to a friend. It was way better than I expected. Anyway, I can tell you what it isn't-- it is NOT the big blast from the 80's past, as the 1987 version was, and you won't smell like caramel corn, rubber, chocolate, or pink cake icing...far from it. The New Nina is old fashioned, and a Sharp Lady. She's well-dressed and going out for the evening, but she is more Kate Hepburn than Audrey. She has that snappy comeback. The florals here are very soft, as is the vanilla. The New Nina: Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Jasmine, Some citrus fruit, and nice green notes , also woods, vanilla, and last but not least some incense that seems to wrap around the vanilla and linger. Once in a while a nice floral note drifts up out of the incense and vanilla , but I cannot identify it. 27 September 2006
