Great scent, rightfully suggested for the office. Very inoffensive, smooth cinnamon and woodsy scent. It's not light and airy, nor heavy and burly. The price is right, too! I only wish it would project, and be a little less "safe". 18 September 2008

I was completely and totally disappointed with the strength of Corduroy. I like the scent that I can detect, but it's so weak that even if I soak myself with it there is no sillage, and the little that is there lasts less than an hour. I like to at least be able to smell a cologne on myself and the only way to be able to smell this is with the nose pressed up against the skin. I will probably throw my bottle out because I will never wear it and it's not strong enough to use as a room deodorizer spray. Useless. Corduroy is a total waste of my time and money. Zero out of 5 stars. 07 September 2008

This is it...the bargain of all bargains....great scent for everyday fall/winter office. I get honeydew melon opening....a ton of cinnamon (kinda' like the cinnamon heart thingys)....finally..... a hint of vanilla, then it starts to fall apart. All this in 6 hours.....love it. 05 September 2008

I just picked up this bottle. My review will come across as quite flippant, but first impressions: I pull off the cap and take a sniff... is that...? Sniff again. Sniff inside the cap. Good lord. It IS. It smells like something my dog leaves behind on the neighbor's lawn on a walk. (Don't worry, we pick it up.) I always sniff the vaporizer first, usually some cologne seeps in shipping or bringing it home in the bag. And here's the olfactory assault that greets me... so my overall impression of the bottle is a bit "colored" on this account. I wiped down the cap and the vaporizer and top of the bottle, to no avail. So perhaps there's some kind of light oil in the cologne that, to put it mildly, separates on the shelf and doesn't do too well on its own. The scent is nice, though a bit "heavy", brooding. The topnote is actually extremely alcoholic. Regrettably akin to Absolut Citron. I don't read anything much more than citrus and alcohol in the top notes. I can't start to perceive anything like fragrance until that cooks off. Rum, nutmeg, cardamom, toasted oak. In the basenote, the cardamom starts to morph into cinnamon, and combines with a bit of pungent foresty smell, wet pine and earth, with an underlying warmth that is probably the vanilla, although it certainly doesn't stand out. It's interesting, enough so to avoid a negative (despite my bottle cap that apparently took a walk in the neighbors' yard and didn't wipe its shoes), but I also don't think this is something I'm going to get in to. Like Dunhill Desire, I'll wear it a couple of times to give it a fair shot but its first visit hasn't been a very rewarding one. I can't quite place what kind of time or place this scent would be appropriate for. 04 September 2008

This is another great fragrance that can be had without burning your wallet. The smell of this juice has been described by others so I won't get into that. This is a sweet warm scent that can be used by anyone. Corduroy is worth a try for its dirt cheap price. What more can I say. 28 August 2008

Not my favorite scent, but not bad either. I like the cinamon smell, it is spicy and vigorous and like all of Zihr scents it is quite excellent for the price. A perfect daily wear, apply liberally, kind of scent and it lasts and lasts. My only issue is that the dry down is kind of hum drum and even though I like the notes, they don't make me feel any different or make me go wow. 12 August 2008
