I bought this one after testing it on my wrist, not too blown away. I'm glad I decided to order some online, because this scent is fantastic. Yeah, it goes on a little powdery at first, similar to lipstick I guess, however, the other notes are refreshing and the development is silky smooth. The dry down is incredible, a soft, sweet, but earthy scent. I couldn't quit sniffing my wrist about 4 hours into it. Longevity and sillage are also very good. 5 stars!

Very good creation similar to Diesel Zero Plus (but less cinnamon) or Dreamer (but less tobacco) always talcy too much talcy, very good long lasting, not overpower nor overwhelming.

Perfectly deep fragrance. I much prefer it to Dior Homme Sport.

After 10-15 minutes, I get this beautiful twang of Synesthesia - I hear two perfect, round notes. Drying down, I get constant reminders of its chocolatey-caramel essence, and plenty of iris. Flowers can be manly too.

At the end, it's purely chocolatey leather. It's the kind of scent you wait for. Of course, like with any cologne, it may smell different on different people. I totally recommend trying it! I'm currently switching between this and YSL's L'Homme. The perfect yin-yang of subdued fragrances for the modern young adult.

Also, I have no idea what people are talking about when it comes to the "Lipstick" smell. Lipstick? Really?

Its a nice sweet, smooth and yes as it is said smells like crayon mixed with
a woman's purse but in a nice way!how can that happens ?
Because it is a Dior product I trust this house.
to me that leathery soft smooth smell is perfect not for anytime,I think is perfect for formal use or romantic meetings.
And here is my idea,I wore it when I was in my black leather jacket,my date
was amazed and love this scent(she said no doubt its a man's fragrance)
concluding this review I can say this is a good scent also to me is inoffensive
but not a great one.

I first encountered Dior Homme on a former love, and honestly, it was the best thing about him. There are reminisces of Musc Ravageur in this scent, but the iris lends it an aloof sophistication with a less, er, ravaged quality. I like this, and I like this on my own skin.

Sheer utter beauty in a bottle. This fragrance is transcendent in its immediate enveloping feeling of the exotic, the tranquil and the nostalgic. The tenderest deja vu. It uplifts my mood when I wear it. Gorgeous musky and floral accords tempered by a slivery-smooth note. A masterpiece of its kind. It may smell feminine to some, but it is pure heaven to me. Olivier Polge is a magician.
