Obsession Night for Men (2005)

Yeah this is it! To me the best CK scent I tested it once and I like it a lot,
its sweet vanilla note that makes me like it,starting vividly fruity then getting smoother and always with an inoffensive soft sensual smell.
Concluding I ll agree to SirSlarty (Great Experience!)that the only common with Obsession is the name!

As many others have stated, this has nothing to do with Obsession for Men (other than the fact that they are both oily orientals). It's a completely different fragrance, and different concept/end-result. As SirSlarty stated, it should have been called something different, and marketed as a new product line.

This opens smelling distinctly like oily coconut. It's smooth, somewhat subtle, and quite unique. The coconut accord becomes somewhat subdued in the dry-down when suede, vanilla, and a hint of spiciness appear.

This stays quite close to the skin, and isn't designed to have significant sillage (unlike the original Obsession for Men). Throughout the life of the fragrance this seems distinctly wet or oily to me.

I really like Obsession Night. It's a refreshing change of pace when I get tired of my usual fragrances. I picked up a 4oz bottle on Ebay for $18 + shipping. Killer deal!

I recommend this fragrance. An inexpensive and nice smelling oily oriental.

disappointed but then again being used to the classic, i just didnt see a need fo this innovation. tho yes, its more metropollitan, but obsession along with Calvin(dyfunct for God knows why) afre the scents that saw CK debut performances in the world of frags.

I think I'm against the grain here, because this one DO reminded me of the original one. Unfortunately, It semmed to be a faint version, a wrong attempt to make the original one more modern...They took the clove away and put something that smells like coconut. The fragrance lost power and It's now just another regular designer fragrance.

I've never been able to make up my mind about this one. I originally bought it because it made me think of how my dad's clothes always smelled if they had been in my parents' antique dresser for a week. That said, I rarely wear it because I forget about it and it really doesnt last too long. The only thing I really like about this one is the black suede and the scent memories it triggers. Aside from that, nothing new, nothing impressive (if there ever was from this line?), so back to the drawing board, Calvin.

This is a damn fine scent. I can't quite tell if it has anything in common with Obsession. I think it does, but that could just be the name association thing. There is also a slight similarity to sun tan lotion to my nose.

I wish I could've smelled this objectively without having known it's name or brand. I'm begining to wonder if I have a small bias against CK partly because of this site. I also think the Obsession name prevents this EDT from standing on it's own two perfectly capable feet.

The bottom line is, if you can smell this without thinking CK Obsession, you may like it more.
