funny.... i actually prefer this to the original. this is sao mich more wearble. m7u at times smells a little tribal and stufffy ( i stillh have high regards for original without a doubt) once in a while,, a pop twist can realeas the brakes of a other wise pretty rigid scent. good flanker. almost fortunate not to tarnish the short but influencial heritage for what is typically Tom Ford - street-meets drama 08 October 2008

This is what was missing in the original -- some lightness. It's now perfect. 02 October 2008

Absolutely mouthwatering blend of ginger and oud, accented by ripe grapefruits and vetiver. Almost as good as the original, if not even better. Smells alot like Soda by Comme des Garcons without that soft, melting vinyl note. This isn`t nearly as strong either, but they are close cousins without a doubt. M7 Fresh is a pleasant wear, and it can be sprayed very liberally. It`s totally unoffensive even in overloaded amounts. I`m very happy to own large bottle of this, it`s five stars all the way allthough it could have slightly better lasting power. 16 September 2008

Minty Fruit Loops. Haha! What a strange fragrance. Agarwood and mint with a hint of grapefruit. M7 was quite a turn off but this is good. Definitely fresh. Definitely M7. Jacques Cavalier knows what he's doing. I can't turn this one down even if I didn't like M7 very much. If you like M7 Fresh but need something more 'old school', check out Blenheim Bouquet. Has that Fruit Loops accord to it. 04 September 2008

You know, I wanted to LOVE this more than anything. How great would it be if my signature scent were some stuff that you can't even buy in a store here? Alas, it's really not special. It's nice, but all I smell are fruit loops and oud. It could use a little "more," perhaps a sandalwood or light musk maybe just to round it out. I will say this, the oud here is properly done, and I mean that "less is more" where Oud is concerned. Oud is so pungently medicinal because it IS, in fact, medicine. Oud is an antifungal oil that comes from an infected asian tree. The "wood" part of the word agarwood is misleading as it refers to the brown, resin stained parts of the tree, but the smell is the antifungal oil itself, not the wood. Class dismissed. Oh, my gf did like this one, so maybe this is a good one that just doesn't appeal to me. 02 September 2008

This is a fantastic re-invention of the classic M7. It's aggresive grapefruit opening is invigorating to say the least, but it calms down and blends into a softer, subdued M7 after an hour or so. If you liked the original, this one's essential for the warmer months when wearing M7 would be lethal. :P 20 July 2008
