Basenotes says...
A new "super-hero" in Mugler's men's range. After A*Men comes B*Men. Basenotes was disappointed that A*Men's partner wasn't called D*Men. It would have been a nice 'play' on good and evil -- A(ngel)*Men Vs D*Men (Demon). Oh well!
The scent was inspired by A*Men, and the bottle is exactly the same, but khaki/red instead of silver/blue. A new classic? We'll have to wait and see.

I originally disliked this one but it was because I sprayed too much and it became cloying. I originally sprayed it with a spray bottle that was without the rubber flask. With the plastic flask the sprays seem to be controlled a bit more and doesn't spray as much as the ones without it. This is a really nice fragrance and I'm glad I gave this one another chance. I almost feel ashamed for originally giving this one a thumbs down. Go easy on the sprayer. 05 October 2008

I had no idea this fragrance was discontinued; I purchased a bottle of it when it was first released. I hate and revile A*Men, but after sampling B*Men, I decided to buy it because it had a very different, unusual aroma (not unpleasant at all). I was taken with the notes of rhubarb and sequoia, which are probably not too common even in niche fragrances. The fragrance is fairly masculine, and not as cloying as A*Men (shudders). However, I became somewhat bored with it and decided to give it away to a friend. To this day, I am still not sure what put me off of it, or why I became so bored of it. Not a masterpiece by any means, but the fact that I became bored means that it was always one of the weakest in my collection, and as such I cannot give it a thumbs up, despite some of its unique ingredients. 14 September 2008

I liked this one a little better than A*Men, but I still didn't care too much for it. My wife felt the same way. Again, too much going on and wasn't all that pleasant in my opinion. 26 August 2008

This is right up my alley: great heavy butch bottle, good spray mechanism, high quality juice, good longevity and sillage, doesn't get cloying and too caramel like A*Men, unique enough, positive feedback, etc. And the price is very attractive at the moment. I don't know why it's not more popular. Oh, a caveat (rare coming from me): be very careful not to OD on this one - it will spoil things a bit. Quite a bit. 11 August 2008

This is definitely under-rated. It's woodsy, spicy and rich with just the right touches of what makes A*Men great without becoming overpowering or cloying. 21 July 2008
