Fruity synthetic musk (what musk isn't now-a-days?). Good for the younger crowd. Very pleasing.

I dont know what to say about Guess Man. Its not a bad scent, but its not the best either. I sprayed some on & really did not get the smell i was hoping for. Yes its fresh & clean just like out of the shower. But there is nothing in it that stands out on my skin to the point I can smell it myself. However I will give it a neutral rating!

This one reminded me of green (unripe) berries on the dry-down. Slightly fruity, slightly sweet, slightly sour. Somewhat synthetic smelling, and a little unusual. I liked it though, just not enough to add it to my collection.

This is a solid mixture. The drydown is the best part for me. It's warm, but refreshing as well. I keep going back to my wrist to smell this one.

I thought this smelled good in the department store. After buying it and taking it home I was greatly disappointed. The initial note was that of my toothpaste (Colgate). Hours later the scent matured a bit, but I could always smell the same scent of toothpaste/bubblegum in it. Green, fresh, toothpaste.

When I decided to test this one, it was with the prejudice that I probably wouldn’t like it because it would almost assuredly be a letdown after the excellence of the first Guess? Man. But I was pleasantly surprised with this 2006 version because this is a good scent and, even though it is nothing like the 1991 Guess? Man, it is a worthy successor to its elder brother. Version 2006 opens with a lavender / green apple / ozone accord that’s quite spicy, a little green, noticeably synthetic, and very fresh. I don’t usually like accords with notes like these, but I find that this has enough proportion and artistry to make it really enjoyable. The middle spices (especially the ginger) sound as if they could get out of control, but they don’t; they are subtle and balanced. They are so subtle and balanced that I would suggest that they could use a little more character. The woody, ambery base is light and smooth and continues the refreshing qualities of the fragrance — I find it quite good and I’m impressed by its longevity. Truth be told, this is not really my type of fragrance — it is too young for me and it’s made for a younger person — but it certainly is one of the more desirable modern designer fragrances I’ve tested.
