I hate this. Synthetic, not original, smells cheap. 05 December 2007

Reminds me of Photo by KL and Casual by PS. Except I think those scents came after. Not bad, it starts out very fresh, but I find the drydown too wannabe pheromonic. Burberry Touch does the same thing with its drydown, but it stays clean the entire time...unlike Guess Men that starts to turn dirty after an hour. 09 February 2007

Such a wonderful scent with wonderful memories. Why do they always discontinue fantastic scents? :o( 29 January 2007

Guess Men starts off a bit too sweet in my opinion - probably the orange. As it dries, this sweetness tones down, though it always retains a boozy quality that I find addictive. This is a very warm, wintery scent. I have a hard time even imagining wearing this all day in hot weather. I personally would not want to. I don't find this all that similar to JHL, as this one doesn't whack me over the head with patchouli like JHL does. Guess Men is very distinctive, totally unique, warm, classy, smooth, and slightly sweet until the leathery and powdery drydown. It's long lasting as well. This one may be worth the high prices it currently commands. 27 July 2006

This stuff rocks. I'm not gonna be technical about it and analyze each note, I can't see anyone not liking this. It's young and alive, but not immature at all. 08 April 2006

A beautiful, elegant scent—a monument to excellence in combining notes in exquisite proportion. Opens with a masterfully blended aldehydes, citrus, and lavender—the orange comes through clearly, giving a slightly different turn on the citrus / lavender opening. Just addictive. And what an excellent balance in the middle accords of floral, greens, and orris: none of the floral notes seem to dominate but the powdery tone of the orris permeates the beautiful and long-lasting center. The base notes continue the beauty of the movement with an emphasis on the amber while the leather, myrrh, sandalwood, vanilla contribute just enough of their essence to create perfection. And all of this is done with subtlety and restraint. Guess Man is like a toned down JHL or Tiffany for men. Beautiful and elegant. 26 February 2006
