One of the best selling fragrances ever. This fragrance along with Eternity by Calvin Klein, sparked a reinterest in the fresh fougere market. A Cool Water for women was launched in 1997.

 | Coming from a females point of view...I love the way this smells, in the bottle and on a man's skin. It is a very popular fragrance, but that is because it smells soooo good (at least I think it does). For some reason I find this scent irresistible on a man, eventhough I don't know exactly what it is that makes it irresistable...maybe it's the way all of the notes blend beautifully together...It is clean and aquatic. | by perfumer pierre bourdon which has also put together the beautiful individuel by mont blanc. cool water is a hate it or love it. hate it because it's been around 20 years and your relatives ( the cheap ones) always get you this or curve for your b-day. love it because it's one of the best and first aquatic's. i still love it. very well blended top notes even though my nose does not pick up peppermint but nonetheless a definate classic.also lasts awhile. 03 November 2008 |

| I have tried not to like this fragrance because it is so popular, but I haven't succeeded. It is a gorgeous medley of its notes. As beautiful as a "marine" fragrance can get. It deserves its popularity because it smells positively wonderful. 22 September 2008 |
