Atrac is right - Azzaro basically took Ck One and (IMO) improved it by making it more crisp, less musky and more metallic. It's kind of like the refined, sophisticated version of CK One (whereas CK One smells more youthful and playful). Check out my review of Ck One (below) and keep the changes mentioned here in mind, then you'll have an idea of what Azzaro's Chrome smells like.

Once again, like Ck One, this is a synthetic fragrance at it's best. The only reason I don't like to wear this is because it also reminds me of the 90's a little too much.

7.25/10

CK One:

It's pretty hard for me to describe the notes in this one. It's one of those fragrances that you "just recognize" if you've ever smelled it. Ck One is a very clean, citrus-y floral (synthetic jasmine) with a touch of unrecognizable woods and some very fresh-smelling musk in the base.

Very inoffensive and pleasent scent. This can be worn anywhere for anything and people around you wont mind being close. I can't believe the lasting power and sillage on this. Very powerful indeed. I really do not see anything negative about this, and I am a very opened minded and diverse person in regards to fragrances. I own bottles of Polo Green to Quorum Silver to Gaultier 2 to Givenchy Pi to several versions of the Kouros family. Anything negative about this fragrance is obviously from people who just like one particular type and stick with it. In that case, why bother trying a clean, fresh, powerful and long lasting (I'm talking 8hours so far and sillage is still boasting) scent?

From first blast you get the bergamot and orange peel and they mix well for hours. After about 4hours of the spray, I detect the ivy creeping around and mixing with the other two. I can't really say when I started noticing the rosemary which crept up a while after (just recently in regards to time), but the other notes are still there...they probably ended up developing into the rosemary. I can detect sandalwood however, it is not sharp, it is actually soft.

It doesn't smell cheap but you can buy it cheap. And for what you get, I'll be buying more of this.

5 stars.

I like this one, but it does indeed smell cheap and synthetic. But of the cheap and synthetic smelling fragrances I've experienced, this is probably the best. The opening is your typical fresh citrus, but the middle and basenotes are where this one shines. The middle notes are a bit floral smelling with a hint of earthy notes. This gives it a more unique, fresh and clean smell. The base is decent...typical sandalwood and rosewood create a good lasting finish.
Great casual fragrance.
Thumbs up.

If you love wood you'll love this one. The top note is a bit metallic, but it disappears and makes room for a sweet green scent (middle notes). After that comes wood, wood & more wood as base that lasts, lasts & lasts (about 12 hours on my skin). It's clean, fresh & comfy, but being a bit sweet & classy i like to wear it on evenings. Anyway... it's one of my coolest.
